This course is intended for non-medical professionals, who
require course certification to meet workplace requirements
or for personal use in the home and community. Ideal for
teachers, child-care providers, sports program coordinators

CPR Adult/Child/Infant - Participants learn how to
recognize and provide care for breathing and cardiac
emergencies, perform rapid assessments and administer CPR
until advanced emergency medical services arrive.
AED Adult/Child - Participants learn how to use
automatic external defibrillators for adult and child.
The Professional Rescuer
This comprehensive course provides the necessary training
for professional responders who have a job- defined duty to
act as an emergency responder. The course topic will cover:
CPR Adult/Child/Infant - Participants learn how to
perform single and two-person rescue CPR and provide care
for breathing and cardiac emergencies. Course will also
cover standard precautions, prevention of disease
transmission and proper use of resuscitation mask and Bag
Valve Masks (BVM) for ventilating victims.
AED Adult/Child - Participants learn how to use
automatic external defibrillators for adult and child.
First Aid
Participants learn to recognize and care for medical and
environmental emergencies causing sudden injury and illness
such burns, cuts, soft tissue injuries, poisoning, seizures,
stroke and diabetic emergencies. The course program will
also address additional subject matter concerning legal
considerations, prevention and preparedness
American Red Cross training courses meet OSHA guidelines for
workplace first aid and safety programs. Participants will
learn lifesaving skills in a supportive environment that
combine lecture, video demonstrations, and hands-on skills
training to teach participants lifesaving skills.
